New England eXposure Basketball

Home of NEX Elite Girls AAU Program

Program Mission Statement:

To cultivate and maintain an enjoyable environment for girls to develop their basketball talent starting at a young age through individual skills development and team practices. The young ladies will learn how to play as team and compete in many tournaments over the years. When the players get older they will compete in targeted showcase events so that players can realize their personal goals of playing basketball at the interscholastic, intercollegiate and professional levels.

Who we are:

Pat Russell (Co-Founder, Director of Basketball Operations, Coach)

Pat has emerged as one of the most successful coaches in New England measured by the skills development of his players and their success in receiving scholarships from top schools. Pat’s latest team, most of whom graduated from high school last May, received over $ 1.5 million in scholarship money from Division I&II colleges and universities. This success has come from a strong and personal relationship with college coaches from all the major conferences in the country in all NCAA divisions that have learned to respect him for his openness and honesty. The rapport that Pat has developed helps immensely when his players are choosing a college that is a good fit.  Pat’s players are sought out for their work ethic, coachability, unselfish play and overall basketball skill. Coach Russell has modeled the NEX Elite program on the best of what he has learned from coaching girls who have achieved their goals as students, players and successful young women.

Billy Guen (Co-Founder, Director of Basketball Logistics)

Billy has been a principal of NEXBBALL since its founding and specializes in the management of operations for  youth sports teams. Billy brought his experience to NEXBBALL and administered NEX’s very successful local basketball tournaments and exposure events. Through Billy’s efforts college coaches throughout New England had the opportunity to see many girl’s show their talents and receive interest from both colleges offering scholarships and those looking to strengthen their rosters with top talent. Billy continues to develop programs that bring together basketball players and the coaches interested in adding them to their teams.
